We put ourselves in your shoes and asked: if we were buying supplements, what would we want to know? That brought us to three very important questions we wanted to answer:
- Is my product clean?
- Is my product what it says it is?
- If so, how do I really know those two things?
This is our answer: Comprehensive third-party testing by accredited United States laboratories that follow quality standards set forth by the most prestigious national and international organizations.
We test every product batch for:
- Ingredient Potency
- Heavy Metal Content
- Microbial Contaminants
- Pathogens
Annually, we screen all products for:
- Supplement Fact Verification
- Pesticides
- Allergens (including gluten, dairy, peanut, and soy)
We use two quality standards because different countries set their own standards and test for different things. Our customers live around the globe, so we want to be as comprehensive as possible in the testing we do and the standards we follow. That’s why we measure our product safety against both European and US standards.
Each test follows these standards:
- United States Pharmacopeia
- European Commission for Food
The laboratories we use are called “third-party” labs because they are not affiliated with Manual of Health. This means your test results are unbiased.

What's a COA?
A Certificate of Analysis (also called a COA) is a document that publishes a product’s test results. These are, essentially, report cards – the culmination of all the hard work that goes into sourcing ingredients from trustworthy farms and ingredient suppliers.
